Charles "Charlie" B. Waddington, 55, Sandusky, died Friday evening, February 22, 2013, in the Commons of Providence, after a courageous battle with Picks Disease.
He was born on July 31, 1957 in Sandusky, and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1977.
Charlie was employed by JBT Food Tech in Sandusky for 32 years.
He loved vacationing on the beach and spending time with his family. Charlie loved to golf, fish, and was a Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions fan.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy (Toft) Waddington;, daughter, Ashley Waddington; son, Zach Waddington; brothers, David (Ann) Waddington, and Donald "Ponch" (Sherrie) Waddington, both of Sandusky, Michael (Margie) Waddington, Bradenton, FL; sister, Laura (Badredine) Idrissi-Mojib, Sandusky; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald O. Waddington; mother, Mary (Garlock) Waddington Walker; and step-father, Robert B. Walker.
Friends may call on Sunday, February 24, 2013, from 4-8 P.M. in the Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Friends may also call on Monday from 10 A.M. until time of his Celebration of Life services at 11 A.M. in Zion Lutheran Church, 503 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. John Mawhirter will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
