Donald H. Kamann, 66, of Monroeville, Ohio, died Saturday morning, April 13, 2013 in his home.

He was born July 18, 1946 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Harold and Antoinette (Nemitz) Kamann and was a lifelong Monroeville resident. Don was a lifelong member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church where he was a former member of the parish council. He was an active member of Monroeville American Legion Post #547, was a member of the Norwalk Bronson Conservation Club, was a former member of Monroeville Council of the Knights of Columbus, and was a former member of Bellevue V.F.W. Don was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve of Fremont, Ohio. He was a former employee of Bachrach Cattle Co. of Plymouth, Ohio, was a truck driver for 38 years of Seven Limers/KAS Trucking Company, and most recently worked for Homan Transportation of Monroeville, Ohio. Don was known by his fellow drivers by his radio handle "Bullwinkle".

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda J. (Kessler) Kamann of Monroeville, Ohio, by his sons and daughters in law, Kris and Devon Kamann of Boise, Idaho, Jason and Mindy Kamann of Monroeville, Ohio and Jamey and Lindsey Kamann of Monroeville, Ohio, and by his grandchildren, Lydia, Hannah, Hunter, Cole and Kiptyn Kamann.

He is also survived by his sister, Margaret Mainzer of Norwalk, Ohio and was preceded in death by his siblings, Ruth Moser, Russell Kamann, William Kamann, Audrey Kamann, and Rolland Kamann.

Friends may call on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Alpohonsus Catholic Church, Settlement Road, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. William Pifher will officiate. Interment will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
