Charlotte J. Proctor-Edwards

Charlotte J. Proctor-Edwards, 70, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 28, 2013 at Stein Hospice Care Center, following a lengthy illness.

Charlotte was born on December 6, 1942 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late William and Sarah (Bowne) Skiles.

Charlotte was a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Torrey Pines Care Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was a member of the Huron United Methodist Church and the Vermilion Masonic Lodge. She enjoyed gardening, going out to eat, shopping following both Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians, and was a NASCAR fan, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

Charlotte is survived by her three daughters, Julie (Rodney) Fisher of Huron, Ohio, Patricia (Tom) McGinty of University Heights, Ohio, Pamela Sue Crocker of Fort Mill, South Carolina, and one son, Grover H. (Tina) Proctor Jr. of Charlotte, North Carolina; two brothers, Kenneth (Rose) Skiles of Smithton, Illnios, Max (JoAnne) Fosterville, West Virginia; fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Grover H. Proctor, her grandson Grover Harrison Proctor III and one brother Clyde Skiles.

Friends may call on Friday from 5-8PM at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. The Rev. Roger Skelley-Watts will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.

Memorial contributions in Charlotte's name may be made to the Huron United Methodist Church 338 Williams St. Huron, Ohio.
