William L. "Bill" Stark, 97, of Castalia, died Wednesday morning, June 12, 2013 in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky following a brief illness.

He was born September 7, 1915 in Castalia and was a graduate of Margaretta High School. Bill was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II, serving with the 118th Signal Radio Intelligence Company. He was a bus driver for Margaretta Public Schools for 27 years, retiring in 1975. He also owned and operated the former Bill's Carryout in Castalia for many years. Bill was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Castalia.

He is survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron & Anna (Steler) Stark, one brother: Lawrence Stark, and four sisters: Leona "Dom" Krueger, Pearl Ontal, Frances Smith and Dorothy Fletcher.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no services and cremation has taken place.
Inurnment will be in Castalia Cemetery.
