Raymond "Ray" JenkinsRaymond “Ray” Jenkins, 76, of Norwalk, died Saturday, December 11, 2010 in the Fisher-Titus Medical Center, Norwalk. He was born May 30, 1934 in Ironton, Ohio, and moved to the Sandusky area in 1947. Ray owned and operated the former Erie Antenna Sales and Service. He also had worked at Sandusky Folding Box and drove bus for the Betty Rinderle School. Ray was a avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and loved camping and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, the former Delores West, his children: Danny (Janet) Jenkins of Sandusky, Debbie Ramon of Fremont, Patty (Angelo) Guevara of Sandusky, Rita (Greg) LeGron of Castalia, Connie Wicker of Sandusky, Faye Ramey and Kay (Albert) Winebarger, both of Sandusky, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, one brother: Everett Jenkins of Sandusky, nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents: Frederick & Dorothy (Patrick) Jenkins, one grandson: Jason Ray Jenkins, December 2, 2010, two sisters: Evelyn Thomas and Darlene Hush, one brother: Ralph Jenkins. Friends may call Tuesday from 3:00 - 6:00 PM at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday. The Rev. Lenore L. Kure will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services, 505 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
