Alice "Patty" Fields, age 73 Flat Rock passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky.
She was born July 5, 1940 in Vest, KY the daughter of the late Woodrow & Zella (Dwyer) Sawyers.
Patty retired in 2003 from American Can and worked at the former GE Electric Lamp Plant. She married Robert Fields June 21, 1958 in Bellevue, he survives her in Bellevue.
Patty was an active member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Flat Rock, Bellevue Eagles Auxiliary Aerie 490, TOPS, and the United Methodist Women.
She is survived by her husband, son; Joseph (Joyce) Fields of Bellevue, Daughter Roberta (Robert) Linder of Potters Springs, GA, grandchildren; Grant Fields, Shawn (Ashley) Hinds, 2 wonderful great grandchildren and her brother William Sawyers.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Robin Fields, brothers; Harold Sawyer, Harry Sawyer, Woodrow Sawyer and a sister Noma Sawyers.
Friends will be received Monday, September 1, 2013 from 2 - 4 & 6 -8 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, at 1:00 pm at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Flat Rock. Burial will follow at Flat Rock Cemetery.
