Eugene M. Beveridge, 94, of Norwalk, Ohio and formerly of Mansfield, Ohio died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 in Norwalk Memorial Home.
He was born July 17, 1919 in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania to the late Morgan D. and Alice (Maxwell) Beveridge and lived most of his life in the Mansfield area.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in W.W.II . Gene was a former auto mechanic at Graham Chevrolet and had owned several service stations in Mansfield. He was a charter member of Amvets Post #26 of Mansfield, Ohio and enjoyed traveling.
Gene is survived by his sisters in law, Ann Gaston of Norwalk, Ohio, and Barbara Cowgill of Huntsville, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marge in 2006.
There will be no calling hours or service. Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio is in charge of arrangements.
