Lucilla A. Meyer

Lucilla A. Meyer, 91, passed among loving family in Reno, Nevada on Tuesday, October 22, 2013.

She was a graduate of St. Paul High School, a longtime employee of the J. C. Penney store in downtown Norwalk, and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, where she enjoyed volunteering to help at rummage sales and funeral luncheons. She loved gathering with family and friends and playing cards. Lucilla was always fun loving, friendly, and quick witted, even though she was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan. She also enjoyed traveling to spend time with her children, and numerous grandchildren, located across the country.

Lucilla was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Meyer, by her son, Dennis Meyer, by her brothers, Raymond, Roy, Larry, Walter, and Leonard Pheifer, and by her sisters, Irene Angel, and Mildred Reilly.

She lives on in the hearts of her surviving children: sons Ed (Peggy) Meyer of Reno Nevada, and James (Ann) Meyer of Lake Charles Louisiana, by her daughters, Joanne (Robert) Wiedemann of Sarasota Florida, Jane (Mark) Tinker of Delaware Ohio, and Judy (Roc) Wilson of Utica Ohio, along with fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 4:30 p.m.to 7:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Paul Catholic Church, 91 East Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Burial will follow in Saint Paul Cemetery.
