Edward Arthur Pointer, 60, Port Clinton, died Sunday, December 1, 2013, in Magruder Hospital.
He was born on June 9, 1953 in Erie, PA.
Edward was associated with New Vision in Fremont, and Riverview Industries.
He loved bowling, swimming and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret Ann (Flosser) Pointer, Port Clinton; brothers, John of Michigan, Christopher and Michael, both of Port Clinton; sister, Sharon Pointer, Sandusky; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Edward Pointer in 2006.
Private family services will be held. A memorial service is being planned for May. Memorial contributions in Edward's name may be made to Special Olympics, 1133 19th St. NW, Washington, DC 20036.
