Marjorie (Black) Dellisanti, 87, of Norwalk, Ohio, died Friday, January 24, 2014 surrounded by her family.

She was born September 10, 1926 in Brownhelm Twp., Ohio, to the late Bernard J. and Norma (Burckett) Black.

During WWII, Marjorie served her country as a "Rosie the Riveter," she was a bomb inspector at Norton Air Force Base in California. They were the working women who replaced men who went off to war. She retired as a school bus driver, after 30 years, with the Vermilion and Western Reserve School districts. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling, and spending time with family in California. Her passion was gardening, especially the gardens she created with friend Iris Riley. Marge was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Renee Dellisanti, son Ramsey, and his children, Gina (Dave), Randy (Rosa) and Bart (Kristy), Son Pete (Sandy Dillon), and children, Christina (Tim), Melissa (Ted) and Casey, Son Tony (Nancy McCoy), and children, Megan, Kelly (Meghan) and Jake, son Joe (Kim Hohler), and children, Matt (Marissa), Chooch (Emily), Dominic and Becca. Great grandchildren, Tye, Miah, Austin, Brayden, Ryler, Mikayla, Tanner, Lola and Lucca. She is also survived by her sisters, Norma Jean Riley, and Henry (Mary) Black.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Casey, brothers, Leslie (Butch), Gary, Don, Miland, and Bernie, infant sister, Charlotte, and sister, Linda Accord.

Marge loved her caregivers, and the family would like to thank Amber, Amy, Christina, Morgan, Anna, Ashley, Kelly, Pat, Janet, Jane, Shannon, Sheri and especially the Stein Hospice continuous care nurses.

There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at a later date.
