William Scott Geisler age 58 formerly of Lakewood passed away Tuesday April 29, 2014 at Elmwood At the Springs, Green Springs.
He was born July 12, 1955 in Hamilton, OH the son of the late Walter Scott & Marcella (Maus) Geisler.
Bill worked for many years in I.T. at University Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He was a 1972 graduate of Hamilton High School and attended Miami University, Oxford, where he majored in Zoology. Bill cared for animals, and he especially loved cats, including his long-time favorite, "Kit." Bill also enjoyed bible study, preparing gourmet meals for family and friends, hiking in the area Metro Parks, and watching sunrises and sunsets at his condo at Carlyle on the Lake, Lakewood.
Bill is survived by his sister Cheryl Irons of Bellevue; brother, James (Claudia) Geisler of Hillsboro, OH, nieces, Julie Luckman, Jenny (Ben) Sloas, Sarah Irons, Katie Geisler, Keriann (Ryan) Wyckoff, nephew; Kevin (Fran) Geisler, and dear friends; Terry Doyle and Donna Adams.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to thank the Woody Woods staff at Elmwood at the Springs for their exceptional care and the pastoral staff, Sister Sam and Father Keith.
At the request of the deceased, cremation took place and a celebration of Bill's life will be held July 12, 2014.
