Doris Jean Johnson, age 79, of Castalia, died Sunday morning, Oct 26 2014, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.
She was born August 21, 1935, in New Tazewell, TN and retired from Chrysler Plastics in 1988.
She is survived by her son Chris (Veronica) Johnson, Oak Harbor; three grandchildren Kristen (Chad) Wagner, AK, Ben (Trisha) Johnson, Perrysburg, and Tom Johnson, Oak Harbor; four brothers Bruce (Wanda) Williams, Wade (Brenda) Williams, Jerry (Dottie) Williams, and Don (Susan) Williams, all of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
Doris was preceded in death by her former husband William R. Johnson; son Larry Johnson; parents James and Oradel (Tolliver) Johnson; and sister Brenda Elmore.
Services will be held at a later date in Maynardville, TN. Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service was in charge of the arrangements.
