Valerie June (Prine) Sibigtroth, 50, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Thursday, November 13, 2014.
She was born on June 23, 1964 in Sandusky.
She was a 1982 graduate of Sandusky High School. Valerie was a lifelong Cleveland Indians fan. She worked for Kmart for 10 years, then as a graphics technician at DCI in Sandusky until 2008, when her disability prevented her from working. She was a loving wife, and a caring mother and stepmother.
Valerie is survived by her husband, Gary L. Sibigtroth; daughter, Amanda Prine, of Sandusky; stepson, Robert R. Sibigtroth, of Lake Charles, LA; stepdaughter, Mary A. Sibigtroth, of Lake Charles, LA; sister, Cynthia (Ray) Bland, of Green Springs, OH; brothers, Gary L. Prine, of Flat Rock, OH, and Richard (Flower) Prine, of Florida; nephew, Nathan (Megan) Prine; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard H. and Leola Y. (Keller) Prine; sister, Victoria; and brother, David.
Friends may call on Monday, November 17, 2013 from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 Noon at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Jim Gregory will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
