Mary Jane (Panzer) Klose

Mary Jane (Panzer) Klose, 90, died peacefully surrounded by her family and wrapped in God's everlasting love.

Mary Jane was born January 6, 1924 in Sandusky where she was a long-time resident.

She was a graduate of Sandusky High School. After raising her children Mary Jane's working career was spent in the retail business as a secretary for AW Roberts. She was a life-long member of St. Stephens United Church of Christ involved in the Women's Guild, Memorial Committee, Church Council, SOS Committee and many other activities throughout her years of service.

With a tender heart, we will remember a caring person that gave freely of her time as she raised her family, and cared for her husband, parents and mother-in-law during their time of greatest need.

We know that Mom continues, as always, to be in God's "everlasting arms of Love."

She is survived in death by two daughters; Paula (Klose) Schnipke and Patricia (Klose) Smith; daughter-in-laws Lynda (Meade) Klose and Lisa (Vasques) Balconi, four grandsons; Nathan Smith, Robert Klose, Raymond Klose and Seth Otto, two granddaughters; Tamara Fraley (Rich) Steinberger and Lisa (James) Leibacher, five great grandchildren; Brooke Saylor (A.J.) Davidson, Megan Saylor and Philip Saylor, Kaiden Hansberger and Jade Hansberger, two great-great grandchildren; Rylie Davidson and Alston Davidson, her sister Caroline Kenne, nephews and nieces; Ronald Kenne, Suzanne Panzer, John Panzer, Jane (Righi) Panzer, Cheryl Klose, Allison Klose and her best friend Snoop.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert M Klose, two sons; Max Klose and Mark Klose, parents Lawrence and Marie Panzer, brother Lawrence "Bud" Panzer, nieces Carolyn (Kenne) Brennan, Wendy (Klose) Holbach.

Friends may call 3-7 Friday, November 21st at Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, and from 10 a.m. Saturday, November 22nd until a funeral service at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen United Church of Chris, 905 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Jerald A Fenske will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky followed by a luncheon at the Amvets.

Memorial contributions may be made to: Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky or to St Stephens United Church of Christ.
