Eileen J. "Switch Board Sally" Warren, 79, of Norwalk, Ohio, joined her Lord in Heaven, Thursday, January 1, 2015 in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, Ohio.
She was born November 29, 1935 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Paul and Lena (Morrison) Mundy and was a lifelong area resident.
Sally was a member of the Norwalk Alliance Church, was a former member and past president of Firelands Post #2743 Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and was a former member of American Legion Post #41 Auxiliary. She was a former telephone operator for General Telephone, and was a full time telephone operator for Fisher Titus Medical Center from 1979 to 1997, and worked part time there from 1998 to 2008. Eileen enjoyed watching her soap opera, and loved music and karaoke. Sally enjoyed playing the piano, and often played at the Shamrock, Waldo's (Pewter Mug) and the VFW.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Lee Warner, of Norwalk, Ohio, and Lisa Lynn Warren, of Milan, Ohio, by 3 grandchildren, James J. (Denise) Boyce, Donny (Angie) Warner, and Tony J. Warner, and by 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Warren in 2004, by her brothers Samuel and Leonard Mundy, and by 3 infant brothers who died in a house fire.
Friends may call on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. in the Norwalk Alliance Church, 2755 U.S. 250 South, Norwalk, Ohio. Deacon Larry Lepard will officiate. Inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
