David L. Weyer, 59, residing in Toledo, passed away Sunday afternoon, April 12, 2015 as a result of an automobile motorcycle accident.
David was born on September 21, 1955 in Sandusky, OH to the late Lee and Mary Jeanne (Link) Weyer.
David was a 1973 graduate from Sandusky High School and Veteran of the Marines. He was employed at General Motors in Toledo. David was a member of Knights of Columbus and the U.A.W. In his spare time, he enjoyed his Harley's, fishing, boating and spending time with his family and friends.
David is survived by his daughter, Kelly A. Weyer of New City, NY; son, Nathan "Nate" (Caroline) Weyer of Suwanee, GA; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Michael Weyer; sisters, Mary Lee Shanley, Amy (Dan) Brady, Ann McVetta, Liz (Mark) Markley and Suzi Weyer; brother, Steve (Chris) Weyer and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 10:00 am at The Chapel, 4444 Galloway Rd., Sandusky. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky, OH.
