Diana Lyn (Cherry) Lochotzki, 55, of Bay View passed away peacefully at her residence Monday, June 1, 2015 following a lengthy illness.
She was born September 12, 1959 to Betty (Snyder) and Lynn Cherry in Sandusky and had attended Margaretta Schools and EHOVE.
She married James Lochotzki on October 27, 1978 in the Holy Angels Catholic Church, Sandusky. Diana had worked at the Bay Bell Restaurant and Store, the Village of Bay View, Save-A-Lot and the Catawba Arby's. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her husband, James L.; two daughters, Marla Lochotzki of Bay View and Stacy (Leon Ruffin) Lochotzki of Sandusky; two granddaughters, Destiny and Laci Ruffin; her parents, Lynn and Betty Cherry of Bay View; one sister, Kathy (Bill) Keegan of Sandusky; two brothers, Jim (Deborah) Cherry of Bellevue and Brian (Lisa) Cherry of Crystal Rock; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her best friend, Debbie Kimbrel of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Friends may call from 2-8:00 PM, Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 6, 2015. Fr. Nick Cunningham will officiate. Burial will be held in Meadow Green Memorial Park.
