Gary R. Huber, of Milan, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 5, 2015.

He was born on July 1, 1936 to Clarence and Catherine (Rockwell) Huber, and lived all of his life in Milan among his many relatives and friends.

Gary graduated from Milan High School in 1954, and on September 6, 1958, he married Barbara Ryder. Gary worked for many years at Barr Rubber, and Hite Ford, retiring in 1997.

Gary was a true gentleman. He cherished his family, above all, and unselfishly dedicated his life to them. He was humble, and generous, to all he met, and touched many lives with his wonderful sense of humor, intelligence, and willingness to help anyone at any time.

Gary is survived by his wife Barb, by his children, Kathy (Tom) Weilnau of Norwalk, Ohio, and Jeff (Laurie) Huber of Milan, Ohio; by his grandchildren, Tiffany (Simon) Strickler, and Alex (Megan) Huber; by his great granddaughters, Payton and Taylor Stickler; by his sister, Joyce (Paul) Hite; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by his beloved yellow lab, Sam.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Betty Huber.

There will be no visitation or funeral services. At Gary's request there will be a very casual Key West style gathering and lunch of family and friends to be held at Milan Township Fire Department Station 2 on Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 1-3 PM.
