Later, as a mother of four, she went back to work at Sawmill Creek Lodge in Huron, and then Hills/Ames where she retired in the 90's. Joan was a loving mother and grandmother who we will miss so much every day. She had a sweet way about her, and loved to have a good time. She'll be remembered for being "the best mom" and "best friend" a daughter could have. We love you mom -"with all my heart".
