Elizabeth "Beth" Ann Hoffman


Elizabeth "Beth" Ann Hoffman, 28, of Huron, and formerly of Milan and Elyria, passed away on Thursday evening, November 12, 2015 in her home.

She was born on May 12, 1987 in Elyria.

She was raised by her paternal grandparents, Richard and Joan Hoffman, whom she affectionately called Mom and Dad. She attended Sandusky High School Special Needs Program and participated at Ability Works in Sandusky, until her death. Renaissance House, Inc. provided for Beth's care giving needs. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Beth touched the lives of many through her smile and love of life. She had the gift of bringing a smile to everyone she met through her unconditional love and acceptance.

Beth is survived by her paternal grandfather, "Dad," Richard F. Hoffman, of Huron; sisters, Laura Hoffman and Laura Oaks-Pollard, both of Sandusky; father, Gary Hoffman, of Elyria; Uncle Dennis and Aunt Susan Hoffman, of Amherst; Uncle James and Aunt Sara Sharick, of Elyria; Godparents, Uncle Raymond and Aunt Janice Hoffman, of Angola, IN; cousins, Jennifer (Keith) Migra, Katlyn and Anna Sharick, Steven Hoffman, Benjamin (Chelsey) Hoffman, and Cathrine (John) Short; and nephew, Brixon Schmidt.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, "Mom," Joan Hoffman; and maternal grandparents, Michael and Helen Fehlan.
Even in death, Beth was able to give. Through organ and tissue donation, others may live.

Viewing will be from 2-8 P.M. on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 11 A.M. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow, and burial will be at a later date in St. Ann Cemetery, Fremont.
