Michael D. "Meatball" Esposito

Michael D. “Meatball” Esposito, 56, Sandusky, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2011.

 

He was born on May 29, 1954 in Sandusky, and was a 1972 graduate of Perkins High School.

 

He was employed by the former PMS in Norwalk, and established and co-founded, Furniture Medic in 1994.

 

Michael was an avid pool player who played in several pool leagues. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his children.

 

He is survived by his wife of 32 years and high school sweetheart, Sherry (Armitage) Esposito,  whom he married on July 8, 1978; daughters, Erin (Ryan) Schnittker, Columbus, OH, and Marcee Esposito, Sandusky; grandson, Gianni Schnittker; parents, Michael and Mary (Wright) Esposito; sisters, Kathy (Jim) Sumser, Severia (Joe) Cassel, and Amy (John Clemens) Esposito, all of Sandusky, Heidi (Lew) Peters, Webster, TX; brother, Domnick (Cindy) Esposito, Sandusky; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Terry and Lonnie Payne, Castalia; several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; fathers-in-law, Bill Armitage and Fred Fearing, mother-in-law, Janis Armitage Fearing; and brother-in-law, Rick Phillips.

 

Friends may call on Monday, May 16, 2011, from 4-8 P.M. in the Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.  Friends may call also call on Tuesday, from 12:30 P.M. until time of funeral services at 1:30 P.M. in the funeral home.  Rev. Paul F. Stengel will officiate.
