Jay H. Price

Jay H. Price, 56, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away early Monday morning, November 16, 2015 in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, Ohio.

He was born October 9, 1959 in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and came to this area in 1968 from Homer City, Pennsylvania.

Jay was a member of the Norwalk First Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Midwest Industries, Willard, Ohio, Hillside Acres Nursing Center, Willard, Ohio, Fisher-Titus Medical Center, Norwalk, Ohio, and Norwalk Custodial Services, Norwalk, Ohio. Jay enjoyed reading, walking his dogs, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and family. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State University football fan.

Jay is survived by his wife of 9 years, Doris F. (Lyons) Price of Norwalk, Ohio, by his children, Amy L. (Robert) Spears of Plymouth, Ohio, Jay J. Price of Willard, Ohio, and Valerie A. (Jeremy) Spring of Loudonville, Ohio. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Autumn, Marissa, Brennen, Kainen, Michael, Drew, and Dylan, by his mother, Nellie M. Price of Norwalk, Ohio, by his siblings, James R. (Laurie) Price of Monroeville, Ohio, Ronald L. (Deborah) Price of Amherst, Ohio, Steven J. Price of Norwalk, Ohio, and Debra (Marvin) Ebinger of Norwalk, Ohio, and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Jay was preceded in death by his father, James M. Price in 2013, by his brother, Michael A. Price in 1999, and by his niece, Monica Rose in 2011.

Friends may call on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Paul Lamb will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk, Ohio.
