Josephine M. Beck, 96, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 in Gaymont Nursing Center.

She was born March 15, 1919 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Wajclecha and Anna (Sliva) Krzywonos and came to the Norwalk, Ohio area in the mid 1980's from Willard, Ohio.

She was a member of the Norwalk First Presbyterian Church, Queen Esther Chapter #15 Order of Eastern Star, and Eagles Aerie #711 Auxiliary. Josephine enjoyed playing bingo, golf, fishing, gardening, dart ball, and always cooked for all the big family gatherings and church luncheons. Stuffed cabbage and potato salad were her specialties.

She is survived by her son, Lawrence W. (Janice) Kanserski of Seville, Ohio, and by her daughter, Lorrine (Leo) Ladyzhensky of Lakewood, Ohio, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Josephine is also survived by her sister, Cecilia Inman of Parma Heights, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Kanserski in 1955, by her second husband, Theodore Pape in 1970, and by her third husband, Kenneth Beck in 2014. Josephine was also preceded in death by her brothers, Edward Krivanos, and Stanley Kshywonis, and by her sisters, Mary Maly, and Natalie Czakaj.

Friends may call on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Adrian Doll will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
