Patricia C. Winkler

Patricia C. Winkler, 78, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015, in Twilight Gardens Home, Norwalk, Ohio.

She was born in Sandusky, Ohio, to the late William J. and Leona F. Greer, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a devoted wife to Melvin J. Winkler for 50 years and loving mother to her children. Patricia was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, and was employed by the Erie County Clerk of Courts where she retired in 1990. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking and baking, working in the yard and gardening. She was amazingly talented with growing roses. She especially enjoyed attending her children's sporting and school events and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Dan Winkler, of Norwalk, Ohio, Deb (John) Magness of Forest Hill, Maryland, and Denise Clark, of Norwalk, Ohio, and her 4 beautiful grandchildren, Maximilian and Mikaela Magness, and Nikki and Tori Clark.

Pat, as she was lovingly called, was preceded in death by her brother, William Greer and her sisters, Arvella "Ann" Bursley, and Betty Bursley.

Friends may call on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio.
