Ada J. Kovac, 68, of Norwalk, passed away late Friday evening, December 4, 2015, in her home.

She was born April 21, 1947 in Logan, Ohio to the late Charles L. and Naomi (Starcher) Skiver, and was a lifelong area resident.

Ada was a member of the Norwalk Alliance Church. She was a homemaker and had worked at Freudenberg NOK as a quality control inspector. She enjoyed family day trips traveling to southern Ohio especially in the fall, camping, and working in her flower beds. Ada loved baking with, and taking care of, her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking big meals for her family.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Paul R. Kovac Jr., of Norwalk, Ohio, by her children, Paul Richard (Pauline) Kovac III, of Norwalk, Ohio, Jason (Heather) Kovac, of Norwalk, Ohio, Angela Ach (Greg Bogan), of Norwalk, Ohio, and Josh (Jessica) Kovac, of Norwalk, Ohio. Ada is also survived by grandchildren, Paul Richard Kovac, IV, Jon Christian, Olivia, Emma, Brody, Ashley, Cecile, Jonathan, and Celest Kovac, Halle Bissell, Caleb, and Gabrielle Ach, by great grandchildren, Maddison Moore, Lee Moore, and Kamryn Kovac, and by her sisters, Janet Schmidt and Cathy Skiver Gladwell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Eric M. Kovac, and by her brothers, Mark and Randy Skiver.

Friends may call Wednesday, December 9, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, Ohio. Friends may also call Thursday, December 10, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Norwalk Alliance Church, 2755 U.S. Highway 250 South, Norwalk, Ohio 44857. Pastor Kevin Seager will officiate. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk, Ohio.
