Betty J. Minor, 85, of Sandusky died early Friday morning, May 20, 2011 in the Lutheran Memorial Home, Sandusky following a lengthy illness. She was born October 11, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio. Betty was one of the first female gas attendants in Sandusky in the early 1940’s. She attended the Sandusky Community Church of The Nazarene, and was a former member of Willo-Hill Baptist Church, Willoughby, Ohio.

She is survived by one daughter: Betty Ann (Gary) Eggers, Snellville, GA., two sons: David (Shirley) Minor of Wickliffe, OH., and Daniel (Karen) Minor of Sandusky, eight grandchildren: Heather (Nathaniel) Coyle, Heidi (Travis) Martin, Dustin Eggers, Jae Minor, Lindsay Minor, Cory Minor, Brett Minor and Todd Minor, two great grandchildren: Sydney and Asher Martin, one sister: Alberta Edwards of Sandusky, several nieces, nephews and other relatives, including a special niece: Debbie (Mike) Zorn.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Edward A. Minor in 1992, her parents: Frank & Elsie (Natemeyer) Bernasek, three sisters: Florence, Elsie and Ann, two brothers: Frank and Edward.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 22, 2011 in the Sandusky Community Church Of The Nazarene, 1617 Milan Road, Sandusky, Ohio The Rev. David P. Flack will officiate. Graveside services for the family will be Monday, May 23, 2011in the Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
