Jack C. Whidden, age 72, of Norwalk, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 after an extended illness.
Jack was born August 7, 1943 in Elyria to the late Jack T. and Kathleen (Curtis) Whidden.
He graduated from Midview High School in 1962. He retired as a supervisor from Ford Motor Company in Lorain, Ohio. He was an avid golfer and skier and was a member of The Chapel. He enjoyed playing cards with friends, loved to travel and go camping with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Joyce (Shingleton) Whidden of Norwalk; his sons, Eric (Gail) of Wakeman, Mark of Elyria and Tim (Shane) of New York; and his brother, Jeff (Teri) of Amherst; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. at The Chapel South Campus, 156 S. Norwalk Road, Norwalk with the Rev. Todd Nielsen officiating. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park in Huron.
