Arlene E. Knoll, 101, of Sandusky, passed away Friday morning, December 18, 2015 in the Admiral's Point Nursing Home, Huron following a brief illness.

She was born December 26, 1913 in Collins, Ohio and was a 1932 graduate of Townsend High School, Collins, Ohio.

Arlene was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Sandusky and a 87 year member of the Wakeman Grange. She retired from the former Sandusky Memorial Hospital after 20 plus years of service. Prior to this, she had worked at the former Philco Corporation.

She is survived by one daughter: Betty (Marvin) Roeser of Sandusky, nine grandchildren: Tracy (Jim Boyes) Eck of Huron, Debbie (John) Pankow of Milan, Brenda (Mike) Oeder, Beverly (Joe) Baker, Robert (Belinda) Knoll, Diane Knoll, Jim (Kathy) Knoll, Tom (Janet) Knoll all of Sandusky, and Mike (Susan) Knoll of Huron, 24 great grandchildren, 21 great great grandchildren, one sister: Lura Stiles of Northville, MI., nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Arthur Knoll, her parents: Joseph & Lura (Lawson) Kocher, two great granddaughters and two sons: Robert Knoll, Sr. & Vernard Knoll.

Friends may call Monday, December 21, 2015 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 Noon in the Trinity United Methodist Church, 214 E. Jefferson Street, Sandusky. Pastor Douglas Winner will officiate. Burial will be in the Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
