Alice K. "Kitty" (Stewart) Rose, 84, residing in Sandusky, passed away Tuesday morning, December 29, 2015 at her residence after a brief illness.
Kitty was born on November 21, 1931 in Parkersburg, WV to the late Lawrence and Nellie (McCrady) Stewart.
Kitty enjoyed gardening, quilting and spending time with her family.
Kitty is survived by her daughters, Hope (Dan) Richmond of Indiana and Kay (Dan) Thompson of Castalia; sons, Douglas (Mickey) and Joseph (Jennifer) Rose both of Sandusky; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Roush and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Kitty is preceded in death by husband, Billy Rose Sr; son, Billy Rose Jr; sister, Joy Delaney; brothers, Paul, Larry, Lawrence Jr., Charles, Harold and James.
Friends may call on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 9:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky with Pastor Kathleen Shuck presiding. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
