Katelin Alexandra Castile, 26, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly in her home early Friday morning, January 1, 2016.
She was born on September 14, 1989 in Sandusky to David Castile, Jr. and Dannielle (Slater) Hollingshed.
Katelin graduated from both Huron High School and cosmetology school in 2007. She then graduated from EHOVE School of Nursing in 2011 with her LPN. She was currently employed at Concord Care and Rehabilitation in Sandusky.
Katelin is survived by her mother and father, Dannielle (Slater) (John Jobe) Hollingshed and David "Deek" (Glenna) Castile Jr.; children, Jermane Edward Kennedy Jr., Alina Alexandra Kennedy, and Zayden De'Edward Kennedy; sisters, Jaden Nicole Chaney, Jade Castile, Jenisa Castile, Josalyn (Reeves "Chuck" Roldan) Woodruff, and Briana Castile; brothers, Jared Michael Jonah Hollingshed and Cameron Castile; maternal grandfather, Dale (Linda) Slater Sr.; paternal grandparents, Teresa and David Castile Sr.; aunts, Teresa (Racquel) Castile and Beth Castile; uncles, Dale (Sheila Rowe) Slater Jr. and Sean Slater; special aunt and uncle, Cindy and Bob Leger; Fiancé, Jermane Kennedy Sr.; in-laws, Lori and Edward Kennedy, Krystal Cruz, Michael Kennedy, Jasmine Kennedy, Becky Kennedy, and Juleah Palmison; and many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Jo Ann Laslea; great-grandmothers, Naomi Letherman and Wanda (Holmes) Pelchar; great-grandfathers, John Laslea and Mike Pelchar; great-uncle, John "Butch" Laslea; and niece, Athena Castile.
Friends may call on Friday, January 8, 2015 from 5-8 P.M. at Agape Love Ministries, 4013 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, and again on Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11 A.M. Bishop Clifton T. Jones, Sr. will officiate. Entombment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
