Mary E. Vogt

Mary E. Vogt, 76, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016, in Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk, Ohio.

She was born June 17, 1940 to the late Fred and Loretta (Hawkins) Carley in Norwalk, Ohio, and was a life-long area resident.

Mary graduated from Norwalk High School and was a member of the Norwalk Bowling Association. As well as bowling, she enjoyed gardening, baking, especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 50 years, Richard "Dick" Vogt, of Norwalk, Ohio, by her children, Cheryl A. (Danny) Dotson, of Norwalk, Ohio, Tonia L. (John) Warner, of Norwalk, Ohio, Sara R. (Kevin) Ebel, of Plover, WI, by her brother, Donald Carley, of Georgia, and her twin sister. Martha "Marty" Hall, of Pennsylvania.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kadi Hardy, Jordan Aldrich, Lyndie Board, Celina Warner, Jacob and Anabelle Ebel, by her great-grandchildren, Corbin Barber, and Brynlee Bergstedt, and by her special nephew, Scott Mattlage.

Mary is preceded in death by 2 children, Laura E. Vogt, and Terri L. Stevens.

Friends may call on Thursday, January 14, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio where services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor. Joe Capizzi of the Norwalk Baptist Church will officiate.
