Dad, your life was full of loving deeds, forever thoughtful of our special needs. Today and tomorrow, our whole life through, we will always love and cherish you.

Ronald C. Krueger, 69, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at his home.

He was born on August 18, 1946 to Elsie and Albert Krueger.

Ronald grew up in the Sandusky/Castalia area, moving to Monroeville in 1962, after his parents passed away. He graduated from Monroeville High School in 1964. Ronald was drafted to the Army and served two years as an instructor for helicopter weapons systems. Ronald worked at RR Donnelly & Sons for 44 years, retiring in 2009 as a Case-¬In Operator.

Ronald married Linda Burky in 1970. They were happily married for 45 years. Ron was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Monroeville where he helped with the yardwork as well as tended to the Journey to Bethlehem fires. He enjoyed watching sports, debating politics and working in his garden.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Burky); two children, Lori (Chris) Griffith of Norwalk and David (Erica) Krueger of Monroeville; adoptive father, Rolland Wendt of Marysville; sister-in-law, Joyce (Richard) Schanzenbach of Bucyrus, and five grandchildren, Nathan & Morgan Griffith and Clay, Ava, and Isaac Krueger.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Elsie (Zimmerman) Krueger; adoptive mother, Emma Wendt and sister¬in¬law, Janice Welter.

Friends may call Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from 3-¬7:00 PM at Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. Friends may also call Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM in the Trinity Lutheran Church, 121 Broad Street, Monroeville, Ohio. The Rev. Dr. Amy C. Little will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Monroeville.
