Hal A. Horn

Hal A. Horn, 71, residing in Norwalk, passed away early Tuesday morning, February 16, 2016 at his residence after a lengthy illness.

Hal was born on February 24, 1944 in Norwalk, OH to the late Urban A. and Regina May (Wagner) Horn.

Hal was a 1962 graduate from Milan High School. He was a Veteran of the Army who proudly served his country from 1966 to 1968. Hal was a member of the Norwalk American Legion. He was employed at Ford for 33 years. Hal was a political enthusiast and enjoyed sports.

Hal is survived by his wife, Kathryn (Palkovic) Horn. He is also survived by his daughters, Krista (Jim) Hatmaker of Norwalk and Deborah (Ron) Cox of Lakewood; sons, Chase Horn of Akron and Greg (Lori) Coates of Medina; 5 grandchildren, Kate Morrow, Eiley Coates, Hallee Hatmaker, Nolan Cox and Adelyn Cox; brother, Curtis Horn; Aunt Pat Seitz and many other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Hal is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Crecelius.

Friends may call on Thursday, February from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory Milan Chapel, 1 South Main St., Milan. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00 am with Mike Taylor officiating. Burial will be held at later date in Milan Cemetery, Milan.
