Kathleen P. "Kitty" Carnahan, 91, of North Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in her home.

She was born July 15, 1924 in Meigs County, Ohio, to the late Wilbur H. and Gladys B. (Quillin) Bissell, and came to this area in 1948 from Meigs County.

Kitty was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She had worked for the Shelby Depot, and was the owner of Carnahan Catering and Cake Decorating. She enjoyed cake decorating, especially wedding cakes, collecting dolls, music boxes, witnessing her faith, ministering, and bible teaching.

Kitty is survived by her children, Connie and Robert Alms, of Norwalk, Ohio, George W. and Leslie Panagiotis, of Brentwood, Tennessee, Susan J. Aaron, of Norwalk, Ohio, and John A. and Cheryl Panagiotis, of Bellevue, Ohio, by 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a great granddaughter soon to be born.

She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Karen Bissell of Norwalk, Ohio.

Kitty was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Carnahan, in 2011, by her daughter, Rebecca Carpenter in 1986, by her sister, Virginia Light, and by her brothers, Hayward and Howard Bissell.

The family would like to thank the many friends and neighbors who made it possible for Kitty to stay in her home. We are very grateful for your kindness.

Friends may call on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial services at 2:00 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 37 Cline St., Norwalk, Ohio. Eli White will officiate. Interment will take place in North Fairfield Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, or to Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio, 44870.
