As a child, Patricia collected bottle caps and was a championship diver, winning many medals. She was a baseball player for the Kellogg's Co. and a member of the Night Prowlers Car Club in Berlin Heights. She would spin records at the dances in Berlin Heights. She was also a Boy scout den mother. She was all about family. She cheered her children on at their horse shows, and she adored her grandchildren. She loved to write poems and loved music. She was always singing with her aids and down at the bird aviary at Parkvue. She loved to watch the Browns and Indians and cheered on Jeff Gordon. She loved her dogs, Rebel, Bernie, and Solomon.
She worked many jobs throughout her life, the most fulfilling being her jobs at the Norwalk Children's' Home and the Erie Co. Detention Facility, from which she retired.

Patricia is survived by her son, James (Doris) Dixon; five daughters, Patricia (David) Sattig, Sharon (Dennis) Krogman, Marian Beatty, Kimberly Dixon, and Michelle (Butch) Montgomery; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, William Dixon; son, Donald Dixon; and other relatives.

The family would like to thank all of her caregivers at both Parkvue and Stein Hospice, and memorial contributions may be made in Patricia's name to both of these fine organizations.
