Kevin William Leber

Kevin William Leber, 213 Gildona Dr., Sandusky, left us on Monday, August 8, 2016.

He was born on August 19, 1983 in Sandusky.

He was graduate of Perkins High School and a 2006 graduate of the Sandusky Police Academy, serving on the Bay View Police Force for many years. Kevin had his own remodeling and flooring business, Buckeye State Remodeling. He also worked in the family business, Berardi's Family Kitchen, on and off, for years.
Kevin was generally the life of the party and loved pulling pranks and making people laugh. He was a "pied piper" with children, with all of them flocking around him at parties and when they had the chance. Kevin had a brief period of song writing in Nashville and really enjoyed that. He was quite talented with anything mechanical or electronic. Over the years he enjoyed volunteering for KinShip and Habitat for Humanity. Kevin was a Christian that grew up at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, and attended New Life Church and The Chapel in Sandusky.

Kevin leaves behind his two sons that he loved very much, Ryan and Collin. He is also survived by his mother, Maria Berardi Nainee; father, Thomas Leber; stepfather, Stephen Adley; sister, Rachel (Tom) Velishek; brother, Dan (Renee) Leber; stepsisters, Jennifer (Russ) Cammann, Melissa Kipke, Meghan (Kevin) Barker, Stephanie Adley, and Anita and Neesha Nainee; grandmother, Katie Leber; many aunts and uncles; cousins; as well as nephews, Vance, Jameson, Pierce, and Barrett; nieces, Aria and Quinn Wahl; and his best friend ever, Josh Wahl. Kevin loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Albert and Rosanne Berardi; fraternal grandfather, Robert Leber; stepfather, Rajan Nainee; aunt, Lori Berardi; and cousin, Robert Grad.

The family will be receiving visitors at the Chapel, 4444 Galloway Rd., beginning at 4 P.M. on Sunday, August 14. Services will be held at 6 P.M.

Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, is handling arrangements.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ryan and Collin Leber Education Fund at Civista Bank.
