Robin L. Ringley

Robin L. Ringley, 55, of Sandusky, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Stein Hospice Care Center after a lengthy illness, surrounded by family and the Stein staff. She was comfortable and at peace in a place she loved.

She was born on November 17, 1961 in Sandusky to the late Stuart and Minnie (Kennedy) Ringley. A graduate of Monroeville High School, she was self-employed for a number of years before working for Stein Hospice as the I.T. and Maintenance Department Coordinator for eight years.

She loved her two dogs, Jasmine and Cody. And, to put it mildly, she loved Stein Hospice. Robin was someone who was always there and would do her best to help, not only because she was supportive, but also because she believed in Stein's mission and knew how important each person was to helping every patient and his/her family. Robin was a true matriarch. Her small, immediate family was everything to her, and she loved them unconditionally. Robin was simply one of those people who touched many lives. Her caring support a true friendship will always be remembered.

Robin is survived by her nieces, Autumn Loretta and Angel Kowpak, both of Sandusky; great-nieces and great-nephew, Laurin, Mya, and Danaris; and an extensive list of family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Kowpak; and other family members.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 16 at 10 a.m. in the Stein Hospice Team Room, 1912 Hayes Ave., 3rd Floor, Sandusky. Chaplain Mel Sayler will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robin's name to Stein Hospice.
