Her hobbies were sewing, knitting, cooking, babysitting the grandkids, and playing cards with family and friends. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling with Jack, with their camper in tow, visiting family and friends across the US.

Doris is survived by her son, Jerry (wife, Cindy) Strong; daughters, Beverly (husband, Robert) Conlin and Darlene (husband, Robert) Schwanger; seven grandchildren, Jeremy and Jared Strong, Ryan Cassidy, Nicole Schwanger, Kristen Tackett, and Aaron and Tyler Conlin; six great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce (husband, Kenny) Adams; and sisters-in-law, Bonnie L. Weilnau and Viola Weilnau.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; parents, Carl E. Weilnau and Hulda (Leber) Weilnau; and brothers, Lawrence, Norman, and Howard (also his wife, Katie) Weilnau.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. on Friday, April 14 until 7 p.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
