John (Jay) Miller, Jr., age 24, of Vickery, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning at his residence.
He was born Nov. 4, 1987, in Cleveland, OH, and was a 2007 graduate of Margaretta High School. He received his State Tested Nurse's Aide License and was training to become a paramedic. He was employed as a trainer at African Safari Wildlife Park in Port Clinton.
He is survived by his father John (Linda) Miller, Sr. of Vickery; his mother Debbie (Ernie) Thomas of Fremont; one sister Loretta Miller of Fremont; 5 step-sisters Angel Radney of Florida, Tasha Thomas of Sandusky, Megan Thomas of Cleveland, McKenna and Allison Leckrone both of Vickery; grandparents George and Ginny Miller of Vickery; grandparents Ernest and Janet Thomas of Florida; aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers Loretta Miller and Marie Marsh.
There will be no visitation. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Saturday in Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia with the Rev. Philip Gardner officiating. Please wear casual attire.
