Rose M. Bores

Rose M. Bores, 78, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 in her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born July 8, 1939 in Vermilion, Ohio, to the late Carl and Maude R. (Sennhenn) Reising, and was a lifelong resident of the Vermilion, Florence, and Norwalk areas.

Rose was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was a former employee of Fanny Farmer Candy Company, and Maple City Rubber Company. She was a loving homemaker, babysitter, and housekeeper. Rose especially enjoyed writing, and singing songs. She also enjoyed singing karaoke at the Sugar Creek Restaurant.

Rose is survived by her children, Barbara K. (Randolph) Biller of Norwalk, Ohio, Jane M. (Willie) Pfeiffer of Norwalk, Ohio, and Kathy S. Thayer of Norwalk, Ohio, by 8 grandchildren, Joshua (Allison) Jackson, Andrew (Kayla) Pfeiffer, Brenton (Michele) Pfeiffer, Dylan Bores, Matthew Biller (Megan Liston), Tabitha (Kevin) Ratcliff, Hailey Johnson, and Katelyn Lewis, by 8 great grandchildren, Shelby Jackson, Lilly Pfeiffer, Nathaniel and Noah Ratcliff, Stella Pfeiffer, Issabella Biller, Lincoln Pfeiffer, and Natalie Ratcliff, and two great grandchildren soon to be born.

She is also survived by her brother, Richard Reising of Florence, Ohio, and by her twin sister, Rosetta DeForest of Norwalk, Ohio.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bores in 2014, by her brothers and sisters, Geraldine Henry, Pearl Traut, Polly Kocheiser, Robert Reising, and Anton Reising.

Friends may call on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Gilbert Mascarenhas will officiate.
