Sam Marlow

Sam Marlow, 94, Sandusky, died Sunday, January 14, 2018, in Stein Hospice Care Center.

He was born in Morrisvale, W. Virginia, on February 26, 1923.

Sam was a U.S. Navy Veteran, where he served on the landing craft in North Africa, Sicily, and Italy, also went to D day in June 1994, and Okinawa Beach in Japan.

He was employed by Ford Motor Company for 32 years, loved working with his hands and could build anything. He was quite the handyman all of his life. Sam also loved fishing, camping and golf. He was a member of the American Legion Post 83, Sandusky.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita (Wright) Marlow; daughters, Debbie Marlow, North Fairfield, OH, Annie Marlow, Texas, Sandy Marlow, Sandusky, and Linda Drake, Marion, OH; step daughter, Judy Corbin, Sandusky; step sons, Larry Price, Kokomo, IN, and Jerry Price, Nashville, TN; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Effie Groves; daughter, Susie Marlow; sister, Vivian; and half brother, Joe Groves.

Friends may call on Thursday, January 18, 2018, from 3 P.M. until time of memorial services at 4 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Burial will take place in Perkins Cemetery, where the American Legion Post 83 Color Guard will provide the military honors.
