Jeffrey Alan Corbin, 57, of Marblehead, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 8, 2018 in Firelands Regional Medical Center after years of declining health.

He was born on December 13, 1960 in Sandusky to Charles M. Corbin, Sr. and Suzanne M. (Price) Corbin. He was a 1979 graduate of Sandusky High.

Jeff was a commercial driver. He was involved with the driver's education program at SHS. He delivered newspapers for Erie News, drove for Babcock Dairy in Sandusky and Toledo, and delivered milk to families for the WIC program. He would often comment on the smiles and gratitude families showed him for his help. He eventually became an owner/operator and would haul freight for commercial carriers, including Bowlus Trucking in Fremont. He also worked for Bowlus as a dispatcher.

Jeff was an avid sports fan. NASCAR, Ohio State, and all Cleveland teams were his favorites. He coached Danbury Twp. baseball for many years. He also enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, and anything he could do outdoors.

Jeff is survived by his sons, Jeremy Paul (Jamie) Corbin and Bradley Michael Corbin, and their mother, Sharon Cooksey; granddaughter, Paige Corbin; grandson, Lee Urbina; sister, Connie A. (Michael) Klingler; three brothers, John R. (Joyce) Corbin, Michael S. (Jean) Corbin, and Charles M. (Theresa) Corbin, Jr.; aunt, Martha McEowen; sister-in-law, Martha Barnum; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Lee Alan Corbin; and brother, Charles E. Barnum.

Per Jeff's wishes, he will be cremated. Friends may call from 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14 until time of memorial services at 6 p.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
