Thomas Alden Kyer, 69, of Huron, went Home to be with the Lord, on Friday, March 9, 2018 in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
He was born on January 18, 1949 in Elyria to Delbert and Marjorie (Dietrich) Kyer. He attended Midview High School and worked for Moen for over 30 years.
He was a loving and caring man who loved to hunt, fish, and travel. He always had four-legged companions and loved them as family. It was family that meant the most to Tom.
Tom is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carol Kyer; children, Brian (Brenda) Kyer, of Sandusky, and Jennifer (James) Stewart, Delbert (Julie) Kyer, and Michelle Bodi, all of Huron; grandchildren, James, Joseph, Anthony, Samantha, Thomas, Jessica, Kelly, Kellie, Corey, and Tyler; nine great-grandchildren (and another on the way); sisters, Susan Lowther, Karen (Gail) Moore, and Lucinda Allen; brothers, Arden (Norma) Kyer and Mick (Bonnie) Kyer; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick Kyer; and great-granddaughter, Bailey Jean Klein.
Friends may call on Tuesday, March 13 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. in Lighthouse Assembly of God, 820 Cleveland Rd. East, Huron. Pastor Tom Holzaepfel will officiate and burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tom's name to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, is handling arrangements.
