Carol Orticari, 83, Sandusky, passed away, Saturday, April 7, 2018, after a lengthy battle with cancer, in Providence Care Center.

Carol was the youngest of nine children. She graduated from Elyria High School and moved to Sandusky in the late 1950's. She was married to Robert Orticari and following their divorce she went on to work for many years as an executive secretary. She was lovingly known as "Aunt Corky" to her many nieces and nephews. And to all the children in the old neighborhood near Ging Street and Campbell School in Sandusky she was simply known as "Mrs. Ort."

Carol is survived by her sons, Michael of Strongsville Ohio, and Robert (Susie) of Huron, Ohio, sister, Betty Oania of Ashland, Ohio. She leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends and will be deeply missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her parents and seven of her eight elder siblings.
