Largo Frye, 49, residing in Huron, passed away early Monday morning, Sept. 30, 2019, as a result of an automobile accident, while traveling to work.

He was born September 12, 1970, in Jacksonville Beach FL. to the late William and Mattie (Elswick) Frye.

Largo loved sports, especially Cleveland Browns football. He also enjoyed playing guitar, hiking, and playing soccer and football with his kids.
He worked for CSX Railroad, most recently as a Loading Foreman, for the last 14 years.

He spent all of his free time with his family. He was a unique, funny, kind, intelligent, hardworking, dedicated man who loved his wife and children deeply. He will be incredibly missed.

Largo is survived by his wife of 18 years, Karen (Kennedy) Frye, whom he married April 21st, 2001; daughter, Makenna Frye at home; son, Brody Frye at home; step son, Dylan Recard of Huron; mother-in law, Ruth Kennedy of Sandusky; brother-in-law, Michael (Gisela) Kennedy of Powell; sister-in law, Diane Debo of Monclova; sister, Connie Shoemaker of Ashville NC, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Largo was preceded in death by brothers, William (Linda) Frye, Thomas (Mellie) Frye and sister, Debbie Frye.

Private family services will be held and conducted at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
