Sally M. Fries, 91, formerly of Sandusky passed away peacefully Monday, August 24, 2020 in the Bellevue Care Center.

She was born August 12, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Carl Sr. and Margaret (Olsen) Jensen.

During her life, Sally maintained friendships with seven special ladies from childhood. Her time playing cards and laughing with them sustained her throughout her life.

She is survived by one daughter, Martha (Jeff) Mariea of Milan; two granddaughters, Madelyn (Michael) Gorkin of Brooklyn, NY and Emily Mariea of McClean, Virginia; one grandson, Brian (Jen) Mariea and his family in Florida; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband David Fries, with whom she was married over fifty years; her parents; siblings, Ellinor Krisher, Robert Jensen, Edith Roth, and Carl Jensen, Jr.

Private graveside services will be held in Oakland Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Back to the Wild, P.O. Box 423, Castalia, Ohio 44824 or to the donor's favorite charity.
