Rowene "Penny" Marie Pooch, 81, Sandusky, passed away, Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at her residence.
She was born on December 8, 1938 in Sandusky to the late Clarence and Rowene (Seible) Warrer.
Penny loved her yard, gardening, going to community events, traveling, especially to Germany, and she was a member of the Daughters of the Revolutionary War. Most of all she loved being Mom, taking care of her children, being with her grandchildren, and taking care of the neighborhood children.
She is survived by her children, Robert James Pooch Jr., Sandusky, Roberta Jean Pooch-Dunn, Sandusky, Melondy Lynn (Dennis) Wright, Reynoldsburg, OH, and Michelle Ann Harrison, Fair Oaks, CA; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert James Pooch Sr.; parents; daughters, Rondetta Lee Trammell and Mary Marie Pooch; grandchildren, Andrew Scott, Amanda Marie, and Olivia Nicole; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers.
Friends may call on Monday, October 26, 2020, from 11 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
