Darlene (Bango) White, 75 of Sandusky passed away on December 14, 2020 at Firelands Regional Medical Center from complications of COVID-19.
Darlene was born in Sandusky, Ohio on November 9, 1945 to Floyd "Bud" and Millicent (Nutzki) Bango.
Darlene married James O. White on September 1, 1962 and together they had three sons. Darlene enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Darlene is survived by her husband, Jim; sons James (Molly) White, Florida; Michael (Scarlette) White, Clyde; and Brian (Billie Jo) White of Milan; brothers Charles (Kathy) Bango, Sandusky; Robert Bango, Castalia; Glen (Patti) Bango of Sandusky; sisters-in-law Dutcha Davis, Dayton and Sue Bango, Sandusky; along with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donnie, and sister Judy.
The family wishes to thank the first responders, medical personnel at the hospital and Patti Bango for courageously providing all of their special medical care to Darlene during her recent illness.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, Pastor Philip Gardner will provide a private graveside service at Oakland Cemetery. A memorial gathering will take place at a later date.
