Carl Edwin Dahm Sr.

Carl Edwin Dahm Sr., 88, residing in Huron, passed away Tuesday evening, February 23, 2021.

Carl was born on April 28, 1932 in Sandusky, OH to the late Carl Philip and Marcella (Corso) Dahm.

Carl graduated from Huron High School in 1950. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force. He was a mechanic at Ace Motors and the OVH. Carl was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. He was also a member of the K of C, Car Coddlers, Erie County Agricultural Society and the American Legion Post 83. In his spare time, he enjoyed classic cars and trucks, doing yard work and spending time with his family.

Carl is survived by his wife, Patricia (Birdsall) Dahm, whom he married on February 11, 1956. He is also survived by his daughters, Vicki Moore of Norwalk, Kim (Bill) Jude of KY and Marcy (Chris) Henry of Sandusky; son, Carl (Pat) Dahm Jr. of Monroeville; 8 grandchildren, Aaron, Andy, Logan, Zach, Jessica, Lauren, Noah and Sawyer; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by his sister, Katherine Wade.

Friends may call on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 10:30 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 430 Main St., Huron. Father Jeffrey McBeth will officiate. Entombment will take place at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
