Sharon Kay (Baugher) Cox-DeAngelis

Sharon Kay (Baugher) Cox-DeAngelis, 77, residing in Huron, peacefully passed away Thursday afternoon, March 25, 2021 at Stein Hospice Care Center surrounded by her loving family.

Sharon was born on November 22, 1943 in Tiffin, OH to the late Harry and Lois (Spotts) Boyd.

Sharon graduated from Bellevue High School in 1961. She was a longtime employee of National City Bank Norwalk in the accounting department before retiring from the Huron County Treasurer's Office. Sharon was a member of Edison Memorial United Methodist Church and was also a member of the Milan Garden & Herb Clubs. In her spare time, she enjoyed being an active member of the Church Prayer Chain. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, needlework and crafting. Her greatest joy was her family, and she was an incredibly devoted grandmother, who could always be seen at all of their events.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Don) Cundiff of Huron; son, Tim (Pam) Cox of Milan; 7 grandchildren, Michael (Annie), Nicholas, Olivia (Mark), Abigail, Elizabeth Kay, Julia and William; 5 great-grandchildren, Henry, Theo, Mila, Edie and Molly Kay; brother, Tony (Mary) Boyd of KY; sister-in-law, Joan (Dan) Voorhees of Vermilion and numerous nieces, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her first husband of 30 years, Jimmie Cox; second husband, Sante DeAngelis and sister, Joan Meyer.

Friends may call on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory Milan Chapel, 1 S. Main St., Milan. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 10:30 am at Edison Memorial United Methodist Church, 10 E. Church St., Milan. Rev. Barbara Stephens-Rich will officiate. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk.
